My name is Tori Barrows and I am starting my first year teaching at Johnson Elementary School! This past year I worked as a Paraeducator at BFA Fairfax and had the opportunity to work in a variety of classrooms across all the elementary grades. I attended college at Saint Michael's College in Colchester, VT where I double majored in Elementary Education and English. While I was at SMC, I worked in the library as a circulation desk attendant and I spent my senior year interning as a research librarian while I was student teaching in the 4th grade at Williston Central School.
When I'm not in the classroom, you will probably find me outside exploring, reading a good book, spending time with my friends, or waiting tables. I have worked in restaurants since I was 17 and just finished up my third summer waiting tables at Ken's Pizza in Burlington! I am also an avid skier and love to spend my days off in the winter on the slopes.
